Discipline Camps
Rising Stars Generation runs quarterly discipline camps in Pretoria for children involved in bad behaviour like substance abuse and bullying. The camps teach discipline, life skills, and leadership, with full involvement from parents before and after the programme.
Arts Academy
Rising Stars Generation’s Arts Academy helps teens in Atteridgeville discover and grow their talents in dance, music, acting, poetry, and visual arts. They’re mentored, trained, and get to showcase their skills at annual community shows while learning self-discipline and life skills.
47th Rising Stars Troop Scout
The 47th Rising Stars Troop Scout is a boys-only program in Atteridgeville run by Rising Stars and supported by the Department of Social Development and Scout South Africa. It teaches life skills through hands-on activities like hiking, cooking, and camping. Boys earn badges for completing tasks, meet weekly at Phatudi High School, and learn responsibility by planning their own patrol camps under adult supervision.
Community Initiatives
Rising Stars runs local projects like school visits for motivational talks, community clean-up campaigns with kids, and yearly food and clothing donation drives for those in need.
Tobacco Free Generation Campaign
Tobacco Free Generation teaches young people not to start smoking by exposing the dangers of tobacco and targeting the tobacco industry, not smokers. The goal is to stop smoking in future generations through school education.
